Mary’s House Walk 2023

SUNDAY 29 OCTOBER

Join us in saying “no to domestic violence and family violence in our community.”

Our annual walk is a fundraising event to support Mary’s House in our mission to aid women and their children escaping domestic and family violence. This year, our fundraising target is $250,000. This will allow Mary’s House Services to provide more case management hours for families accessing the Mary’s House shelter and the Daisy Centre.

Pet companions

You can bring along your social pets for the walk – tethered at all times.

Individual or team

Sign up and join your friends on a team or as an individual. Children under 12 walk for free.

Easy grade

Suitable for all abilities. BYO water and be sun safe.

Open:
Check-in on the day opens at 8:45am. Be there early for warm up, welcome from Mary’s House CEO Yvette Vignando, and route information.

Location: Meet at St Leonards Park, adjacent to North Sydney Oval in Miller Street, North Sydney. Look for Mary’s House blue and our banners in the park.

Route: The 10km walk commences at St Leonards Park, heads towards Balls Head Reserve, Waverton and returns via McMahons Point to The Greens North Sydney where walkers can book a table for post-walk brunch or lunch with your friends and family.

In the event of cancellation: If torrential rain or storms deem the event must be cancelled, Mary’s House Services will post notifications across our social media and on our website by 7:00am on the day of the event – Sunday 29 October 2023.
