Volunteers are the life blood of Mary's House, undertaking most of the day to day tasks to ensure we deliver the best service possible. Volunteering for Mary's House can be hugely rewarding as you are part of a friendly, dynamic and highly motivated team. We are currently recruiting new volunteers to fill some specific roles. You can commit a small, or larger amount of your time, depending on which role you take on and how much free time you have.
- · Drivers - we have a number of vacancies for drivers - both on a regular weekly basis to collect deliveries and on an ad hoc basis for a range of delivery jobs. This role requires a current NSW drivers licence and a police check. These driving jobs all take place during business hours Monday - Friday.
- · Babysitters - babysitters are required on an ad hoc basis. This role requires lifeline training, working with children and police checks and availability both during the weekday and occasional evening. Previous experience with children is essential
- · Office staff - office staff are required to commit to a regular time slot each week or fortnight. This role requires working with children check, familiarity with Microsoft office, previous experience working in an office and an ability to work closely with other team members
